TRAVEL TIPS

🌞 Additional Travel Tips for a Beach Wedding

  • Weather: October is warm and tropical—expect sunny days in the mid-80s°F and breezy evenings. Pack light, breathable clothing for beach days and tropical nights.

  • Wedding Attire: The ceremony will be on the beach, so think lightweight fabrics and beach-friendly shoes (or go barefoot!). Keep it dressy, but relaxed!

  • What to Pack:

    • Swimwear, sunscreen, flip flops, sun hats

    • Light outfits for daytime and breezy layers for evening

    • Bug spray for outdoor events

    • A reusable water bottle and beach bag

    • Travel-size aloe, just in case 😎

  • Currency: Mexican pesos are the official currency, but U.S. dollars are accepted in many places. It’s helpful to have small bills for tips. There are ATM machines that dispense pesos or dollars at the hotel.

  • Time Zone: Puerto Vallarta is in Central Standard Time (CST).

  • Electricity: Standard U.S. plugs work—no adapters needed.
